JC's 2008 NFL Mock Draft.

Okay, here it is. BTW, the better the team is the more fierce their logo is. Draft stupidity also makes your logo weaker.

Dolphins1. Miami Dolphins- JAKE LONG, OT, Michigan. No explanation needed.
Rams2. St. Louis Rams- CHRIS LONG, DE, Virginia. All signs point to Long. These first two picks are boring.
Falcons3. Atlanta Falcons- GLENN DORSEY, DT, LSU. Would be a great pick for the Falcons. They are getting the most talented player in the draft and putting some kind of talent on the line. Get your QB later. Don’t waste it in the first round when you don’t have an absolute stud. The last 10 years has shown us you can win with mid round QBs.
Raiders4. Oakland Raiders- DARREN MCFADDEN, RB, Arkansas. Old senile Al Davis is still making the picks. This move has bust written all over it.
Chiefs5. Kansas City Chiefs- BRANDEN ALBERT, OL, Virginia. When the Chiefs are back in the playoffs in 2-3 years and dominating the AFC West they will look back on the 2008 draft class.
Jets6. New York Jets- VERNON GHOLSTON, DE, Ohio State. One of the reasons they like him is New England does. They should quit worrying about what’s going on in Foxboro and correct their own problems. However, great pick nonetheless.
Patriots7. New England Patriots- DERRICK HARVEY, DE, Florida. With Gholston off the board the Pats go to the next best end and it’s right here. Belichick has a close relationship with Florida coach Urban Meyer and has taken quite a few of his Gators in years past.
Ravens8. Baltimore Ravens- RYAN CLADY, OT, Boise State. The Ravens need a QB and also realize you can get QB production with mid round picks. Clady will be the heir to an aging Jonathan Ogden.
Bengals9. Cincinnati Bengals- SEDDRICK ELLIS, DT, USC. The Bengals need to improve their defense and they get the second best interior lineman available.
Saints10. New Orleans Saints- LEODIS MCKELVIN, CB, TROY. The Saints defense is garbage. If they want to advance in the playoffs it has to improve. They traded for Jonathan Vilma (overrated), signed Dan Morgan (how old is this guy) and Bobby McCray (underachiever). That’s not going to cut it. Don’t be shocked if they trade up. They may try to make a splash and get local boy Glenn Dorsey.
Bills11. Buffalo Bills- DEVIN THOMAS, WR, Michigan State. The Bills really need a wideout but there isn’t anyone to select with this pick. In typical Bills fashion they reach and select somebody they could grab 7-10 slots later.
Broncos12. Denver Broncos- KEITH RIVERS, LB, USC. The Broncos have a fixation with athletic linebackers. Rivers is a perfect fit and they grab him.
Panthers13. Carolina Panthers- RASHARD MENDENHALL, RB, Illinois. Carolina needs a running back and he’s the best available.
Bears14. Chicago Bears- CHRIS WILLIAMS, OT, Vanderbilt. The Bears need an offensive line to block for their bad QB and soft running back. Williams is a little weak but that’s the easiest problem to fix.
Lions15. Detroit Lions- MATT RYAN, QB, Boston College. Ryan slips and gives Detroit the QB they’ve been waiting for. He’s the 2008 Brady Quinn. Ryan is crossing his fingers and hoping he doesn’t end up in Detroit. If the Lions pick him then have a hurse bring him to Detroit because that’s where he’ll be buried.
Cardinals16. Arizona Cardinals- MIKE JENKINS, CB, South Florida. Questionable character issues. He’ll fit it in great with the Cardinals. He does give their lethargic defense a boost.
Chiefs17. Kansas City Chiefs- JEROD MAYO, LB, UT. The Chiefs says they want their players to have instant impact. Both Albert and Mayo will be starting next season and be staples on the Chiefs for years. They could go defensive end but Mayo is the BAP.
Texans18. Houston Texans- JONATHAN STEWART, RB, Oregon. The Texans wise up and realize you should draft your running backs. This gimmick of signing 29 year old running backs is over. If this happens Houston will have the steal of the draft and go from 7-9 to 10-6. It still may not be enough to make the playoffs in the AFC.
Eagles19. Philadelphia Eagles- JEFF OTAH, OT, Pitt. The Eagles need a tackle. Runyan and Thomas are old and losing it. It’s need and BAP all in one for the Birds.
Bucs20. Tampa Bay Bucaneers- PHILLIP MERLING, DE, Clemson. The Bucs lost out on Jarred Allen and are having contract problems with Greg White. They sure up their pass rush with another need and BAP pick all in one. You never know with Gruden though. He may try to pick a QB for no reason.
Redskins21. Washington Redskins- DESEAN JACKSON, WR, Cal. The Redskins “need” a WR so they’ll reach and take one. If not for the Lions the Redskins would be the team everyone laughs at during the draft. When picking for either team smoke crack and hit your head with a hammer. After doing so you’ll see things they way they do.
Cowboys22. Dallas Cowboys- FELIX JONES, RB, Arkansas. Jerry Jones went to Arkansas so by his logic he must take an Arkansas player. Another meddling owner who doesn’t understand the draft.
Steelers23. Pittsburgh Steelers- GOSDER CHERILUS, OL, Boston College. The Steelers offensive line is terrible. Cherilus will end up playing on the right side and be a great run blocker. Don’t be surprised if the Steelers trade down. Maybe with the Jaguars.
Titans24. Tennessee Titans- ANTOINE CASON, CB, Arizona. The Titans need a DB and probably have Talib scouted a little higher. But do you think they are going to bring in a corner with a checkered past? Yeah, doesn’t sound like a problem they want to have.
Seahawks25. Seattle Seahawks- DAN CONNER, LB, Penn State. I'm not a huge fan of Connor but he's a safe choice. Slow linebackers who rely on playing smart make lots of tackles but they aren't difference makers.Jaguars26. Jacksonville Jaguars-KENTWAN BALMER, DT, UNC. The Jags need to build up the defensive line and he’s the best available during their pick. If a DE they want is available (Merling) they could trade up. The Jags have had long talks with Calais Campbell but won’t take him. The DE dropoff in the second round isn’t that big. The dropoff at DT in the second round is steep. You’ve replaced Marcus Stroud and will ease the pressure off the ends with the big push. Wise pick.
Chargers27. San Diego Chargers- AQIB TALIB, CB, KANSAS. Time for the Chargers to replace Drayton Florence. Hopefully he can lay off the weed.
Cowboys28. Dallas Cowboys- KENNY PHILLIPS, S, MIAMI. It’s time for the Cowboys to try and move Roy Williams to LB. He’s absolutely useless as a safety. Phillips is a good fit.
49ers29. San Francisco 49ers- LIMAS SWEED, WR, TEXAS. Nice slow receiver for a nice dumb team.
Packers30. Green Bay Packers- BRANDON FLOWERS, CB, Virginia Tech. Packers need help in the secondary. Charles Woodson turns 90 this year.
Giants31. New York Giants- CALAIS CAMPBELL, DE, Miami. The Giants stick with their theme and take another DE. You can never have enough.

The Seahawks don't have much where I can work with a logo. What the hell is a Seahawk?
